Larry & Shay Chedotal moved to Mississippi in August, 1993, to manage Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery, the business their family purchased in 1973. They have been married for 23 years and have two children; a daughter, Brittany, who is 22 years and a son, Ryan, who is 16 years old. They are members of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Madison.

Larry is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University. He has been working in the cemetery industry since he was 14 years old, beginning his career as a lawn attendant. He is now the sole proprietor of Natchez Trace Funeral Home, Memorial Park Cemetery & Crematory. Larry has been very active in the cemetery industry and has served two terms as President of the Mississippi Cemetery Association. Larry is very supportive of the Madison Chapter Special Olympics donating all proceeds from the annual Easter Candle Light Vigil at Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery. Larry is a member of the Whisper Lake Homeowners Association, Madison “The City” Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Knights of Columbus.

They are members of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Madison.

Shay is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University. She is actively involved in the family business. She graduated in December, 2005, with honors and received an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences in Funeral Service Technology.  Shay has contributed many hours and resources to Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity, Camp Bluebird, Special Olympics and Breast Cancer Awareness.

Michael is a native of Ponchatoula, Louisiana and graduated with honors from Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham, Alabama with a degree in Mortuary Science. Michael, his wife Theresa, daughter Kaelon, and son Gavin have been residents of Madison, Mississippi since 1999. Michael is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the state of Mississippi, as well as, Alabama and has been the funeral director licensee in charge of Natchez Trace Funeral Home since it's inception in 2003. As of 2007, Michael was one of thirteen directors in the state of Mississippi to have earned the right to use CFSP (Certified Funeral Service Practioner). This honor is given to those practioners whom have documented 180 or more hours of continuing education during their career and maintain 20 hours of continuing education hours each year by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. Michael was the first funeral director from the State of Mississippi to attend the ICCFA (International Cemetery, Crematory, & Funeral Association) College of Cremation Services in Memphis, Tennessee where he achieved Crematory Operator Certification. Michael serves on the Board of Advisors for the Mortuary Science program at Holmes Community College, Ridgeland Campus, was appointed to serve on his homeowner's association, and was elected by the citizens of Madison to serve as Alderman for Ward 5 during the 2005 – 2009 term and continues to serve in that capacity to this day. Michael is a past Lt. Governor for the Central District of the Mississippi Funeral Director's Association (MFDA). Michael and his wife, Theresa, are the owners and operators of My Pets At Rest Pet Crematory, continuing their care for the community by offering professional cremation services to pet owner families.

 Rosa Reynolds is a licensed funeral director and also a licensed Insurance agent. Mrs. Reynolds has been involved in the funeral industry since 1986, when she began selling pre-arranged funerals to those who knew the benefit of preplanning. She obtained her Funeral Directors license under the guidance of Michael Hudgins in 2002 and continues to work with him as she assists with every aspect of our business. Mrs. Reynolds is a native of McGehee, Arkansas and has 4 children and 6 grandchildren. She attends church at Crossgates Methodist Church

Daughter and Grand Daughter of the Chedotal Family, Brittany is married and has 2 children. A culinary graduate, Brittany left the restaurant industry to begin her family. Raised within the cemetery profession her entire life, Brittany is very familiar with the day to day activities and responsibilities required of serving the public. Brittany specializes in cemetery sales, including plots and memorials, and funeral preplanning. Please ask for Brittany should there be any questions regarding the preplanning of funeral arrangements or choosing a plot or memorial within the cemetery.

Bill, having managed Baldwin-Lee Funeral Homes for many years, joined Natchez Trace Funeral Home in 2012. He is a native of Columbus, MS and is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, having graduated from Jefferson State College in Birmingham in 1979 and received his National Certificate of Funeral Service the same year. Over the years, Bill has been involved in Lion's Club as well as Rotary, where he served as president of the South Hinds Rotary Club and is currently active with the Madison-Ridgeland Rotary Club. He has served as Governor for the Mississippi Funeral Directors Association from 2007 to the present and remains committed to preserving the heritage of quality funeral service. Having served literally thousands of families over the years, Bill brings a wealth of knowledge to Natchez Trace Funeral Home for grieving families during their most difficult times. He and his wife, Kathy, have a combined family of three grown children, Justin, Amy and Chris, and grandson Jett. He and Kathy are members of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and reside in Ridgeland.
